After over a year and a half of planning, designing, and fabricating, T.W. Enterprises would like to introduce our latest and most involved project to date: The Direct Combine Baler System for a Massey Ferguson 9560 Combine & 2270 XD Square Baler The direct conveyor system’s main function is to catch all chaff and straw dropped directly out of the combine and feed it directly into the baler via the conveyor belt. By doing this, the operator can catch over 95% of drop, helping with weed control and next years germination period while also producing bales simultaneously. The baler and conveyer are powered by a custom hydraulic system designed in partner with HyPOWER Systems. This project has tested our design and fabrication capabilities from start to finish. The first prototype has successfully completed the season producing 1300 large square bales! We would like to thank our client Ian Thorson for providing us with the opportunity to tackle this project.
